One of the graphic designer's tools is the ability to combine text and graphics for print production using industry-standard page layout software. This course applies tools and techniques of graphic design to page layout problems. The student will begin to develop his/her portfolio with projects such as newsletters, brochures, fl yers, and advertisements. Projects will challenge the student to apply design principles and processes and work further with typography and imagery. Prerequisite: GDT 105 or permission of instructor.
