This course applies the tools and techniques of vector graphics to problems in graphic design and provides continued study of design principles and the design process. Vector graphics are used for creating logos, vinyl sign designs, screen print designs, and many other documents. The student will learn the tools, palettes, and menu commands of an industrystandard vector graphics program, will learn to create and modify vector graphics, and will develop a vector graphics portfolio. Prerequisite: GDT 105 or concurrent enrollment or permission of instructor.
