This course will provide students with a basic understanding of the cardiovascular system, including acute and chronic disease processes, electrocardiography (including 12-lead acquisition and interpretation), and emergency treatment modalities. Prerequisites: Admission to the EMT-Paramedic program, Missouri EMT-Basic license, Grade of "C"or higher in all of the previous EMT-Paramedic courses.
