The second semester course is designed to provide intermediate level nursing courses to the second semester student. The curriculum includes a continuation of adult medical-surgical studies to include specific diseases and the pharmacological, medical, surgical and nursing treatment options of each. The correlation between theoretical situation in classroom and the experiences received in the clinical settings are discussed. Prerequisites: LPN1013 Nursing Process I and LPN2402 Nursing Clinical Experience I. 8 credits.
