This is a basic course designed for the person pursuing a career in any of the manufacturing and industrial fields. It is a study to help the student develop the basic skills required for visualizing and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints. Persons seeking careers in engineering, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronics fields will benefit from visualizing shapes, line usage, dimensioning and tolerances, and notes and symbols. (3,3,0) Prerequisites: MATH 1003 Basic Math with a grade of "C" or above or ASSET or ACT score of 14 or above in Math and acceptance into the Electrical Apprentice program.
