Standard principles for collection and entry of data required for the filing of medical insurance claims. Application of correct coding techniques for "clean claims." Procedures for claims filing and resubmission of denied claims. Concepts of insurance reimbursements and procedures for processing the insurance payment. Prerequisite: HIM 1803 Medical Coding I. 3 credits.
