This course is designed to help students understand the basic elements of the short story with an emphasis on increasing the student's reading, writing, and analytical skills. The course will concentrate on a variety of literature, including multi cultural works by a diverse group of authors, revealing the emotions, ideas, and changes throughout history. Prerequisite: Grade of "C" or better in EN 12003 EnglishComposition I.
