This course is designed to teach students strategies, techniques, and skills essential to becoming a successful college student and a lifelong learner. Students will explore learning strategies that lead to success in college, career, and life. Topics covered include time management, goal setting, stress management, learning styles, note taking, memory techniques, college etiquette, and test taking strategies as well as critical thinking and information processing. This course is a college-level, creditbearing course open to all students, but it is a required course for students taking two or more developmental courses.
