This course is designed to show students how to plan a network infrastructure in different computing environments. Issues such as network protocols and compatibility with Novell NetWare, UNIX, and Macintosh computers will be discussed. Students will also learn how to configure, manage, secure, and troubleshoot features and services for Windows-based enterprise networks. Students will also learn how to configure the Domain Name System (DNS) to manage name resolution, schema, and replication, and how to use Active Directory to centrally manage users, groups, shared folders, and network resources. (6,3,6) Prerequisites: MCSE 1104 Microsoft Professional and MCSE 1204 Microsoft Server
