In this course the student will be introduced to heavy duty power transmission equipment such as clutches, transmissions, gear boxes, gear drives, torque converters, couplings and drive lines. Instruction covers theory of operation and industrial applications for these devices. Lab will focus on maintenance and installation of this type of equipment. (3,2,3) This course is offered when there is demand from business, industry, or the general public.
