This course is designed for college-level students enrolled in allied health science programs as well as students who are interested in obtaining information on nutrition in order to better their lives and the lives of their families. This course covers the principles of good nutrition for all age groups including indepth information concerning the food guide pyramid, diet planning, vitamin and mineral functions and sources, and also how to modify these principles for therapeutic purposes.
