Prerequisite: (R), SPAN 1010 or 1115 or by Evaluation VARIABLE 3-6 CREDITS International Study I provides an intensive language and culture experience for the student who has some background in Spanish. Following orientation meetings on campus, students spend a period of time (minimum 9 days) in a Spanish-speaking country. Students will improve listening and speaking skills while developing cultural competence as they experience firsthand the culture of a part of the Hispanic world.
