Prerequisite: BIO 1314; Corequisite: PTA 1013, PTA 1023, BIO 1414 2 CREDITS The student will identify underlying circumstances and phases of disease and dysfunction, describe primary and secondary disability patterns related to various deficits, gain knowledge of functional activities and techniques to prevent secondary disabilities using special equipment as needed, and identify terms, prefixes, suffixes and abbreviations used in the medical practice.
