Prerequisite: PTA 1312; Corequisite: PTA 2014, PTA 2024 3 CREDITS This course is designed to provide the student the opportunity to explore and further understand systems and challenges that impact the Physical Therapist Assistant. The course explores the role of the Physical Therapist Assistant and how s(he) functions as a member of the health care team; systems and operational issues that affect the practice of a Physical Therapist Assistant; and challenges that the Physical Therapist Assistant and all health care professionals face in day to day clinical practice.
