Prerequisite: ENGL 1113 English Composition I 3 CREDITS Beliefs and Believers is an exploration into the nature and function of belief structures or "worldviews." These worldviews exist in formal organized entities such astraditional religions or as political and personal ideologies, such as feminism or environmentalism. Representatives from a wide variety of religious and secular perspectives discuss what they believe and why they believe it. The student is exposed to the religious systems of major world religions as well as systems of belief that are outside the scope of what are deemed mainstream religious institutions.
