Prerequisite: Prerequisites: (R) (W) and MET 1013 3 credit hours Students will become familiar with tools and techniques of milling machine operations as well as the theory of milling operations in the manufacturing process. Students will learn and understand industry specific safety standards and guidelines of milling operations in a manufacturing process, tool and shop safety, and print reading specific to milling operations. In applied laboratory assignments, students will demonstrate an understanding of print reading, mathematic calculations relating to setting up a milling operation, milling operations in a manufacturing process, and industry specific safety standards and guidelines.
