Prerequisite: (R) (W) and MET 1013 3 CREDIT HOURS Students will identify, evaluate and apply the principles of surface grinding operations including wheel structure and uses and accessories. Students will learn industry specific safety standards and guidelines associated with precision surface grinding process in manufacturing, equipment and shop safety, and mathematics required in the production process and print reading specific to precision surface grinding. Laboratory assignments are an integral component of this course.
