Prerequisite: (R) (W) (M), MU 1224 4 CREDITS This course is a continuation of MU 1224 Music Theory II. The student will study the usage of dominant and non-dominant seventh chords, secondary dominant chords, borrowed chords, and modulation. Harmonization of bass and soprano lines, compositional analysis, and original composition will be emphasized. Correlated aural and keyboard application exercises will be an integral part of the course.
