Prerequisite: (R) (W), Earned at least a "C" in CD 2113, CD 2133 3 CREDITS This course discusses how to create, evaluate, and select developmentally appropriate materials, equipment, and environments that support children's early learning. It provides the opportunity to plan, implement, and evaluate an integrated curriculum that focuses on children's needs and interests and takes into account culturally valued content and children's home experiences. The course contains a laboratory component. The laboratory portion of the course involves direct interaction with children in the campus Child Development Center and Laboratory School. Students must meet pre-laboratory requirements.
