This course, the second of a two course sequence, focuses on the diverse needs of students and the role of educators in recognizing and addressing learners' needs. Two primary topics will be addressed: Diverse Ways of Knowing and Learning and Professional Issues of Diversity in Education. Instruction will involve a combination of group learning, reflection, and site-based experiences within schools. Prerequisites: ENGL 1020, TEAC 2010, candidate for graduation or permission of the program manager
