This course introduce nursing theory for the following medical-surgical disorders: cancer, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, and digestive. Emphasis is placed on developing and demonstrating an understanding of the role of the practical nurse functioning as an effective team member. (4 sch: 4 hr. lecture) Pre-requisite: All first semester Practical Nursing courses. Co-requisite: PNV 1634. Passing grade required in PNV 1614 and PNV 1624.
