Is designed for students who are interested in a career as a forensic scientist or criminalist. Students interested in advanced techniques for criminal investigation are also encouraged to take this course. The course examines the use of science to solve crime. Topics include the use of physics, chemistry, and other science disciplines in crime investigation. Students explore forensic identification, analysis, and examination. Topics covered include serology, ballistics, toxicology, organic, and inorganic analysis.
