Class 3, Lab 0. Prerequisite: CHEM 1515 General Chemistry II or concurrent enrollment. This course includes an overview of aliphatic and arene chemistry. Emphasis is placed on functional group nomenclature, properties, preparation and reactivity. This course is not intended to substitute for a 3000 level Organic Chemistry course, but is designed to enhance the success of the student in future chemistry courses.
