(3.0 hours) Through lecture, discussion and practical hands on experience, students will learn the art and craft of stage directing. Topics will include scheduling and use of rehearsal time, directing and stage management techniques and investigation of notable directors and their contributions to the world stage. The class will end with a student directed and acted ten minute play showcase. Prerequisite: CT 1403
