A structured work-site learning experience in which the student, program area teacher, Work Based Learning Coordinator, and worksite supervisor/mentor develop and implement an educational training agreement. Designed to inte-grate the student's academic and technical skills into a work environ-ment. Included regular meetings and seminars with school personnel for supplemental instruction and progress reviews. Three to nine hours externship. One to three semester hours.
