Description:

This course covers introductory anesthesia, animal nursing, emergency medicine, introductory preventive health and euthanasia of animals. Laboratory sessions include practical application of clinical techniques commonly done by veterinary technicians in the treatment of animals. Students will participate in the care of sub animals. Prerequisite: VTTK 1500 with a grade of "C" or better.3 hours lecture, 2 1/2 hours lab.
