Introduces the main concepts of stellar, galactic, and extragalactic astronomy. Topics include life cycles of stars, supernovae, black holes, interstellar medium, structure of the Milky Way galaxy, galaxy classification, galaxy interactions, dark matter, dark energy and the Big Bang model.
