Provides students with an overview of various environmental and industrial toxicants and their effects on the body. Introduces the history of toxicity and basic tenets of the science such as routes of exposure, dose-response curves, tolerance as well as general effects and lethal doses. Prerequisite: BIO 130 and BIO 135 with grades of C or better.
