Continues the student's hospital based clinical experience under the supervision of faculty, sonography staff and a clinical instructor. Emphasis is now placed on first, second and third trimester obstetrical exams. Continues to provide practice in the clinical application of abdominal and small parts sonography. Effective communication, operation of equipment, patient care and technical skills development receive special attention. Introduces the student to venous duplex sonography. Corequisite: DMS 208, DMS 209 and DMS 210.
