Introduces students to telescopes and astronomical imaging devices. Includes properties and usage of telescopes, types of imaging devices such as cameras and CCDs, methods of astronomical observations, and astrophotography. This class is only offered at night. For science and non-science majors. IAI P1 906L pending approval. Prerequisite: AST 100 or AST 111, and AST 115 with grades of C or better, or consent of instructor.
