3 semester hours Prerequisite: AGR 125 or permission of program coordinator (Lec 2 hrs, Lab 2 hrs) This course provides instruction on the design, construction, renovation, and maintenance of particular types of sports fields. Areas of discussion will include the principles of sports turf culture, sports field construction and their maintenance. Upon completion, students will be able to design and layout sports fields, and install and maintain turf and other surfaces for sport applications. (F)
