This course is a study of sets and set language, properties and operations of whole numbers, natural numbers, and positive rational numbers. It also includes the study of ratio and proportion, percent, measurement, irrational numbers, real numbers, and simple equations. Prerequisite: Appropriate score on placement test(s). A grade of "C" or better will advance the student to MATH 0113 or MATH 0125 (Elementary/Intermediate Algebra).
