(Prerequisite: ACT Composite of 16-36 and/or Placement Level 4) This course is designed to increase student success in college by assisting the student in obtaining the knowledge and skills necessary to reach his/her educational goals. Topics in this course include learning styles, goal setting, time management, memory strategies, listening and note taking, test taking, diversity and relationship, money and health, communication skills, study techniques, critical thinking, problem solving, and personal issues that face many college students. (3 hr lecture)
