(Prerequisite: ALLI 2503 Cardiopulmonary Anatomy and Physiology and acceptance into the program.) This course is designed to integrate the theory and application of physical assessment and diagnostic testing on the adult patient. Topics covered will include charting, cardio-pulmonary assessment, communicating with health care team members, interpretation and administration of EKG's, ABG puncture/line-sampling and interpretation, Chest X-ray interpretation, and Pulmonary Function studies and interpretation. (Only offered in the spring).
