Credits 2 (2 Lecture Hrs/Wk) - Sp (Formerly WLD 150) An introduction to fabrication practices, use of tools (hand and power), Jigs, fixtures, templates and equipment maintenance. The student will be instructed in the use of blueprints, layout procedures, measurement, fitting of metal parts, joint design, weld construction, and shop safety. Concurrent enrollment in IMTL 161 is required. Prerequisite: IMTL120 and IMTL121, each with a grade of "C" or better;or IMTL128 and IMTL129, each with a grade or "C" or better; or consentof instructor. Proficiency Needed: Reading, Writing, Math.
