In this course students will be introduced to systems used to control radiological events. Coverage will include the documentati on process, communicati on systems, counti ng errors and stati sti cs, and dosimetry. The understanding of the requirements of documentati on and communicati on systems as defi ned by the Department of Energy is emphasized. Reporti ng this data in a correct manner is a core element of the course. The ways of calculati ng exposure limit through dosimetry practi ces are also taught. This is a three credit hour course.
