This course is a study of the legal aspects of personal and real property ownership. It will include bailments and the basics of probate. It is also an analysis of common real estate transacti ons such as deeds, leases, mortgages, foreclosure, ti tle search, encroachment surveys, easements, liens, and landlord/tenant relati ons. This is a three credit hour course. Prerequisite: LS 113 & LS 113C or permission of program director or coordinator
