This course introduces students to concepts, principles, and theories from various social sciences to the study of the factors that influence the acquisition, consumption, and disposition of products, services, and ideas. The course prepares students to understand how customers are likely to respond to new products, services, or other actions in the marketplace by introducing them to the many physical, economic, social and psychological factors influencing consumers in their decision making.
