Prerequisite: WLD 121. Student will learn when welding with consumable wire electrodes that transfer of metal is achieved by three methods. The type of metal transfer that occurs will depend on electrode wire size, shielding gas, arc voltage, and welding current. Various lab exercises employ different processes with different joint types and various welding positions. Shop safety will be emphasized. 0 lecture hours; 6 lab hours per week.
