1 hour credit. This course will enable the student to play a piece of music at a piano. It will also enable the student to harmonize, transpose, and use five-finger positions, the four types of triads and play scales. This is the first in a progression of four semesters of piano classes intended to help build the necessary competencies required to pass the piano proficiency requirements for the student seeking a music degree.
