4 hours credit. Prerequisite: CH 110, BI 106 or equivalent, MA 120 or above all with a C or better, and previous or concurrent enrollment in AJ 121 with a C or better. This course will enable the student to apply the principles and techniques of the physical and natural sciences to the analysis of various types of crime scene evidence. This will include evidence collection, identification and analysis using microscopy, PCR, GC and spectrometry.
