Forage management of legumes, small grains and grasses with emphasis on alfalfa production and management topics of establishment, winter survival, fertilization, cutting management, varieties and harvesting equipment. Corn silage production; variety selection, fertilization, harvest management, and proper corn silage storage will be discussed. Utilization of grass and legume forages by grazing animals will also be included.
