Northern New Mexico communities have been the subject of many anthropological and photographic research projects. In this course students learn to document the distinctive character of Santa Fe and surrounding communities using anthropological and photographic methods. Black-and-white or color film can be used. Knowledge of photographic processing and a 35-mm camera are required. Darkroom experience may be required. Cross-listed as ART 265L. Prerequisites: ARTS 140L and ENGL 109. Offered: Occasionally.
