An introduction to the health and fitness benefits that strength training provides for women. Students are guided through the process of developing individual strength and fitness programs based on their personal fitness goals. Instruction in exercise and technique is complemented by information about related topics in women's health and fitness. May be taken twice for degree or certificate credit.
