Community Involvement is an elective course designed to provide students with experience in a public or human service agency, or other appropriate work environment, and to encourage them to recognize the value of their participation in the service/learning process. This course requires 16 hours of seminar, 48 hours of field experience and reflective work in the form of journals and essays. (1 hr lecture/discussion, 3 hr lab)
