ACCT 2460 Payroll Accounting (3L,3CR) This course examines the fundamental concepts and procedures used in payroll accounting. Usually, payroll is the largest expense of most businesses and a continuing management challenge in terms of cost control. This course will explore payroll laws and recordkeeping requirements, running a payroll, payroll reporting and accounting procedures, and payroll systems and policies. Prerequisite: ACCT 1005, ACCT 2010, or permission of instructor.
