This course focuses on mastering adjustments and error correction. The student will practice skills of adjusting entries and correcting errors by completing tests on all aspects of adjusting entries including recording accrued revenue and expenses, unearned revenue, prepayments and adjustments, and preparing an adjusted trial balance; the common methods of finding errors; completing a bank reconciliation, and correcting current period deferral and accrual errors. Prerequisite: either on-the-job experience or an academic background in bookkeeping.
