Description:
WELD 2520 Pipe Welding II (2L,6LB,5CR) Designed to combine skills developed in previous courses to prepare pipe joints on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum pipe. Welding will be done using the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) processes in the 2G, 5G and 6G positions. This course includes a welder qualification performance test in accordance with Section IX of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Prerequisite: WELD 2510.
