Introduction to techniques, art and theory of color photography; printing from color negatives and/ or transparencies, developing color negatives and/or transparencies; characteristics of different color film types, lighting for color photography; covers color theory and use of color in composition. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Prerequisite: Art 115 and Art 116, or Consent of Department Chairperson. 1 lecture and 2 lab hours per week. 2 credit hours.
