This course will examine human interactions with geologic processes and hazards, including earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides, subsidence, hydrology, and flooding; occurrence and availability of geologic resources, energy, water, and minerals; principals of land-use planning, pollution, and disposal, environmental impact, health, and law.
